About
In September 2012, graphic designer and cartoonist Elliott LaPoint began drawing cartoon sketches to study for tests during his senior year in high school. These sketches would later lead to the creation of, Fun Fact Adventures. He often struggled in school until he got the idea to take what he enjoyed doing as a kid, drawing cartoons, and using them to help him study. One night, while he was studying for a test for his Economics class and watching TV, he got the idea to draw his own original cartoon that would represent the word "economics," so he could understand what it meant. The characters involved were of his own original design, some of which helped to represent what he was trying to study. With the cartoons he sketched, he earned an A in not just his Economics class, but in all of the classes he took throughout the school year. During that time, he was able created three different study methods involving his cartoons. By the end of the school year, he earned straight A's throughout the whole year, which was the first time he had achieved this during all his years of schooling. During his years of college education, he would continue sketching these cartoons to help him study, which led him to achieve high marks and receiving several honors and achievements. After improving his artistic and graphic design skills, he began turning the sketches into well-polished comic strips and pages to start the Fun Fact Adventures series. He also designed several sticker apps of the characters from the series.
(plot might get updated/changed in the future)
Fun Fact Adventures takes place in a world that is mostly inhabited by anthropomorphic animals of all species, and stars a ten-year-old, kind hearted and adventurous tiger named Alex Funfact, and his two friends: Simon, a nerdy bear who is Alex’s best friend and a brilliant inventor that constantly gets wedges; and Loppy Lisa, a kind rich lop-eared bunny who has a crush on Alex. Alex and his friends live within a fictional American city named Briggsboro, and attend a fictional elementary school, where they interact with several other characters. These other characters include: a physics loving bat that has a crush on Simon named Nicole; dimwitted and gullible Tasmanian devil named Erwin; badminton pro dog named Duke; geeky Japanese salamander named Yasahiro, and a bubble themed robot that often serves as a mascot and language translator named Konburu. Most of the stories (short and long) that Alex, his friends, and others experience are inspired by several kinds of educational information, legends, and fun facts. Alex’s father, Felix, is an economist who constantly lectures him on random facts about economics, but tries to make them more interesting to know in order to inspire him to like economics, despite him saying he doesn’t want to be an economist like him. His father’s habit of making economics more interesting inspired him to take anything he learns and turn them into a fun experience for himself, his friends, and others to experience, mainly as an excuse to have an adventure either inside or outside of the city. However, at the same time, they come across several situations and dangerous villains, such as a group of seven evil ten-year-old children, led by a mysterious unknown child named Enigma Ripper.
